Gina's Story
I came to Canada from Italy, fifty–two years ago. I was so impressed to see how good Canadian people were. Everyone welcomed me and made me feel at home. Even though I left a good family and many, many friends, I never felt alone in Canada.
While I raised my children, I attended night school classes at Sudbury Secondary School and Cambrian College. I took many leadership courses and graduated from the Provincial Institute in Social Services.
I worked at the school board teaching sewing classes at night school; I taught for 20 years and loved every minute of it! When the school board canceled the night school classes, I decided to start my own business and thirty-five years later I am still in business.

I love what I do! We had so many fashion shows; we sewed thousands and thousands of dresses, coats and suits. We made many people happy because we are true masters of haute couture and the customers respect that.
